Position Description

Position Summary

Driver for shuttle service that the SILP dept. offers to students, driving them to/from local train, bus and air terminals before/after major school holiday breaks. This student may also assist in off-campus errands needed for events sponsored by SILP.

Must be an approved driver on the Messiah College minivan and 15-passenger van list (or able to get approved)

Skills, Characteristics Required for Position

Good time management, prompt, reliable. Flexible in last-minute changes as needed.

Dress Code Requirements

Casual attire (jeans and sneakers)

Special Working Conditions

Available on dates that most students are usually leaving campus.
Willing to work early hours (3am-6am) and later hours (9pm-Mid), as needed.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds (* putting suitcases in vans).

Primary Duties

1. Driver for shuttle service to/from local train, bus and air terminals before/after major school holiday breaks.
2. Assist in off-campus errands needed for events sponsored by SILP.
3. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

Secondary Duties

Other duties as assigned.
